It's been another two weeks since I blogged. Alina, it's all your fault. I was just dazzled by your enchanting beauty and did not even have time to write down my profound and philosophical thoughts, hence depriving myself and others of the enlightment. :) (People, spend a day with alina, you will talk like me. She loves to use these overly-formal English.) Alina Blooper.. The other day, she meant to tell me that she enjoys having conversations or chats with me. Instead she wanted to test her own vocabulary, wanted to use the word, discourse, which I doubt is appropriate. Instead, she said, I love having these deep "intercourse" with you!!!!!!!!!!! I almost slapped her for saying out loud in public!!!!!!!!! Oh I love Alina! Lina, Thank you so much for the best times spent together. I look forward to hiking the Grand Canyons with you, visiting the ruins in Mexico, touring Germany and the Canary Island, and visiting you in China in the next few years. Most importantly, I will find you a school here so you can study for half a year in California! Some of the highlights in my life... I am working 60 hours a week! Yeehaw!!! I love people from work, going out more and more and more. Spent a fabulous weekend in San Francisco with He-I-Shall-Not-Name. Thanks Baby! I love Crabs! Went on numerous hiking trips nearby. Got lost countless times. Watched The PRINCE AND ME. THE CHEESIEST MOVIE EVER! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!! Found a great sushi place and ice cream parlor. Planning a fantastic vacation with Nana in May to Florida. Friends, I apologize if I have not been great staying in touch. I love all of you so much. I will do my best to keep in touch with all of you. |
| Lina December 21, 2004 12:20 AM PST In order to save my reputation I must say that "to have deep intercourse" might be right - may be not to describe having a conversation, but as a synonym of relationship. (my dictionary told me that!). Nevertheless I am still puzzled with the English language and your reactions, Carol, to what I say! I love it. Above all, English is such a beautiful language - the best language to mutilate! :) | ||
